Nice Course
This is a nice course nice lay out but the greens were not good, required a good soaking and rolled. Nice and friendly clubhouse.Reviewer Rating

Nothing glamorous but worth a visit
Well laid out moorland course and it offers a stern test for the average golfer. It is very flat making it ideal for those who are less able to cope with the hills.
The clubhouse is of a good size and food of a decent standard.
A disappointment would be that a number of the bunkers are a bit short on sand, making it difficult to escape these traps conventionally.
The short game practice area is currently undergoing a makeover so is non-existent at the moment. However, there is a driving net and putting practice green on offer.
In summary, it is a good standard course - well maintained and playable all year round. It may never make the front pages or be the most picturesque of courses but well worth a visit.

Favourite course in the area
Lovely course. Greens immaculate and true, challenging holes and easier holes where you can score well. Friendly clubhouse. Will be joining here once I move back to the area in a few years.Reviewer Rating

Great course very good condition
Falkirk Tryst enjoys all year round golf. Has very good drainage and holes 8 to 14 play like a links course. Course enjoys good drainage and is completely flat. At par 70 from the white tees it represents a challenging round for all handicap groups. Well worth a visit.(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 89 Handicap: 15.3)

Not a bad course a bit flat and lacked definition and features, greens were very good and in excellent condition, the tee areas were not good very sandy and scruffy, its a shame the rest of the course was not up to the same standard as the greens.
