What the club says: Located just one mile northeast of Bonnybridge and off the A883 in Scotland's Central region, one of the 'Home of Golf' most underrated regions for golf courses, Bonnybridge is a welcome blend of heathland and links, due to the sandy nature of the soil.

A nine-holer, it is just over 6, 000-yards in length for the full 18, this course features guarded greens and has plenty of surprises up its sleeve to shock even the more gifted players who pay a visit.

Quality course

Even though it’s only 9 holes, this place is special. I love that I can learn so much over the front 9 so that I can play the back 9 perfectly every time and seriously inflate my handicap. I always shoot mid 70s here but high 80s on the true 18 hole golf courses and I can’t put my finger on why?

Great course. I'm there pretty much every day getting practice in for golf holiday next year with my girlfriend. I love the setup and friendly welcome. Most days it's windy but I find it extra challenging and I welcome any challenge. Most of my best friends are members too and we all have a jolly good time with one another. The fairways are ticht and the greens rapid like the rapids up the Glen. I shot a 95 in the Championship the other day(my best score ever, like I say the course is challenging with those windy winds). I have a chance is getting through and really look forward to going out in the next round and doing everyone proud. JPOH.

Bonnybridge course is only 9 holes but still quite a good challenge, you play it twice off course!!!.Favourite holes are the par 5 5th and the driveable par 4 7th hole(for the bigger hitters) measures 301 yards. The par 3 6th is only a short hole but demanding into the wind with bunkers surrounding the green.Overall it is a fair test and not too difficult for the lower handicapper like myself.
