What the club says: Welcome to Fairbourne Golf Club. Our 1000 yard par 3, 9 hole links course is situated in the village of Fairbourne with stunning views to the East up the Mawddach estuary and overlooked by the hills to the North above Barmouth and to the South by the Western end of the Cader Idris mountain range.

The present course with the help of grants and donations was reinstated in 1995 by a willing band of volunteers after many years of neglect and land changes. A small section of the original which dates back prior to the 1890's when in those early days it was known as Barmouth and District Golf Club as well as the Meirionnydd Golf Club.
