What the club says: The 6,665 yard , Par 72 course provides a challenging test of golf all year round. Opened for play in 1974, it has matured into an attractive tree lined course with many fast sloping greens and strategically placed bunkers. Its location affords impressive views of the Staffordshire countryside.

I found the course awful, I know it’s been wet but I couldn’t even find my ball in the rough, in fact, once I did find it I found some relics from the Roman times it was that deep.

Great Society Day

We played today and the course has benefitted from a few dry weeks and is looking fantastic. We had a society day and it was great from start to finish

Nice course in good condition, lots of variation on holes and rewarded like most courses when you can keep it straight. Didn't loose many balls as rough is cut back low but had to chip sideways a few times out of tree lined fairways.

Great Course, Great character.

Some great interesting holes on this course. A beast of a starter with a dog left left Par 5. A very tight 10th Par 4 which if you are a decent hitter then you can drive it, but beware all the OB on the left. The 11th Par 3 looks simple but danger everywhere around the green. Some great holes and would deffo recommend giving it a try.

Quality track

12 of us travelled to play a weekend golf at the Belfry and Played in open competition on the way down and was blown away by the standard of the course and the welcome in the clubhouse. Absolutely first class. It’s a must play if your in the area.

Decided to join Druids, Quality

Very enjoyable course! Great mixer of challenges, with the front 9 being a couple of strokes harder than the back nine! The only thing it needs is a couple of water hazards to be truest brilliant, but even without its excellent! Maintained to a very high quality, good professional staff! So good I became a member!

Perfect for Winter golf

We played Druids Heath last week and was surprised how dry the course was with fast, receptive greens. We know the course well and have never been disappointed. Approach shots to the greens are key to guarantee bogey free round of golf.

Gareth Anthony the manager is always a great host and we look forwards to playing the mixed alliance in May.
