What the club says: The course is set in the rolling countryside of the former Little Aston Hall and there is a wide variety of mature trees. There are three par 3 holes and three par 5 holes and although the fairways are not unduly narrow there are rewards for accuracy - especially from the tee. The course features two lakes. At the par 5 twelth the lake cuts into the green and at the par 4 seventeenth the lake is also adjacent to the green.
Although a traditional members Club, Little Aston extends a warm welcome to Societies and Visitors throughout the year.

Sutton Coldfield's beech resort!
There cannot be a golf course anywhere in the UK with so much sand, Fortunately some of the bunkers were GUR and those that weren't, were pleasingly playable. Here's something else too - heather! Long grass in the rough is one thing but heather in the middle of the "fairway"... ugh!A most challenging course indeed for those of us that play up the middle rather than teeing onto the green.

I went into bunkers on 9 holes during my round thankfully they had decent sand in the and I was able to play decent bunker shots out of them.Reviewer Rating

Played at last
Been meaning to play Little Aston for sometime now and was invited the other week, unfortunately it was very wet, but I had a very enjoyable day. I would not say it is unmissable but it certainly is a nice course to play, but maybe a little disappointed, interesting putting green and a friendly welcome in the pro shop and if invited again id certainly be backReviewer Rating

Better in the area
Played Little Aston last week after Hollinwell earlier in the week, no comparison it was beaten by a mile. Little Aston seemed dated and don’t get the huge appeal apart from it being in expensive surroundings there are better course localReviewer Rating
