Copt Heath Golf Club welcomes societies on our recognised “Society Days” which are Wednesday and Thursday. Groups of 12 or less can also be accommodated on Tuesday afternoons and Fridays.

What the club says: Copt Heath is a classic heathland course offering golfers of all levels a high quality experience in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Harry Vardon designed the original layout in 1907. This was enhanced by Harry Colt in 1913. Colt's strategically placed up-swept bunkers adorn the course with every shot requiring careful thought in order to score well. Over the years, the Club has staged many top Amateur and Professional competitions as well as hosting Regional Qualifying events for The Open Championship.

Good Layout but disappointing Condition
Good Layout but disappointing condition. I had heard very positive things about this course, so the expectation was high. Greens in particular were very poor even for this time of the year.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course but not challenging
I had been looking forward for ages to get the chance to play this course and last week, I did. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. While the course was in excellent condition it was not greatly challenging and very samey all the way round. Lots of bunkers but no other hazards and virtually all holes were almost straight with only a couple of gentle doglegs. Having said this I would play it again but certainly not at the usual green fee.Reviewer Rating

Enjoyed the round very much. The course is lovely, set on a great piece of real estate. Greens are fast.

Almost a Links course

Probably best course I have played at. Course in superb condition, bunkers (there are lots of them) filled with top quality sand. Greens all consistent and fast. Club house and staff top quality too.
