What the club says: Opened in 1993 as a 9 hole course we quickly expanded to the 18 hole course you see today. Whilst only measuring 6048 yards from the white tees with a Par 71, the course's lack of length is protected by tree lined fairways, numerous bunkers and subtlely undulating greens. The course is a fair test of golf for both beginner and experienced golfer alike!

Nice course. In great condition at the mo.
Played this on the 5th march 25 and was surprised the condition it was in. Given the time of year the course was in good condition. The Greens were rather poor but given the time of year cannot be helped. deffo a buggy job for myself being an OAP now but its a good a d powerful walk. The back 9 holes are a mission with the ups and downs on the fairways. Would certainly return once the weather improves.Reviewer Rating

We were made to feel very welcome by Tracy from the moment we arrived for breakfast, and what a breakfast it was. Best we have had this season, everything cooked fresh and a very good selection. Highly recommend. Course was in good condition and scores were good today. All told, a good day out.Reviewer Rating

Poor condition
I have played this course many times in the past and have never had any issues but at the moment the greens are poor, bunkers unkempt and overgrown with foliage, winter tee boxes still being used when the normal tees are ok.Really not good enough or worth the money when there are better options in the area.
That being said if they sort out their issues knowing how good the course can be, I would recommend and play again but before booking I would phone the course and ask about the above.

Amazing Condition
Played this afternoon. For the recent weather course was in great shape. Few holes with raised lips which cost a couple of shots but treated really well.Got stuck behind a 3 ball who seemed to be searching for balls every hole. Even though we got close to them a few times and is being a 2 ball they never offered to let us play through despite our obvious better standard of golf. Thankfully they left after 9 holes. And we flew through the last 9.

Fair course
Fair course. Quiet which was nice. Even though it was wet, it wasn’t too boggy. I would play again.Reviewer Rating

Very hilly
Good course, lots of steep hills which towards the end of the round can get quite tiring. Older players or those with less mobility or fitness should consider buggy.Reviewer Rating

Challenging
As it's name says this is set in a valley and is very up and down where a good drive onto a downhill slope can give its rewards, likewise a bad shot is often penalised, especially where trees guarding narrow fairways come into play. Drains well so not normally affected by wet conditions. Quite physical due to its undulations but well worth a visitReviewer Rating
