What the club says: Founded in 1993 as a 9 hole course, the club now offers 18 holes, outdoor & indoor practise facilities including simulator, fully stocked Profesional Shop, bar with catering, a function room for up to 120 guests, secure car parking and a true Yorkshire warm welcome!!

exceptional course

A little gem

Magnificent!
The whole course was in tip-top condition. It’s on the short side but the views from each tee are to die for. All inspirational and helped me play my best golf for years; I’m going back tomorrow!. Nice club house with good local ales, food and friendly helpful staff. Same in the pro shop (not the beer and food though).(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 98 Handicap: 28.3)

Great views
Quite a picturesque course, not overly long but dog legs and hazards make you think your way round. ?20 for a visitor on a Saturday afternoon was good value.Reviewer Rating

February 2019
Took advantage of the dry weather in late Feb '19.Booked online and reported in at the Pro Shop. Friendly reception, and was allowed to start the round early as the course was quiet.
The ground was in good condition and greens receiving spring treatment.
Enjoyed the experience, and any bad shots were soon forgotten by the pleasure the wonderful views of Yorkshire Dales.

Spectacular views of the moors
Very good condition. Quite hilly particularly towards end of round but very good layout with interesting holes. Not too long, could easily play without need for driver but greens have some difficult slopes.Reviewer Rating

Nice course if it was kept better. Some greens were unplayable as they had debris that had not been cleared off. Didn't see any one making an effort to do anything about it.

Played this course as part of a society match. Everyone well catered for , good food friendly welcome. Course in good condition generally, a few wet areas following overnight rain. Greens receptive if a little slow. Nice finishing holes, par 3 17th and par 4 18th. Always enjoy playing Bracken Ghyll for the outstanding views.

This is an excellent course - greens and fairways in really good nick. Short but challenging. Set in beautiful surroundings - God's own country. Will be back. Twilight rate at £15 is exceptional value- you'd be hard pushed to find a course of similar quality for this price.

A perfect setting on a sunny day overlooking Yorkshire countryside. Greens in great condition, quite tricky with pin placements and slopes. Most par 4's reasonably short but have some tricky tree and stone wall defences. Well maintained course and friendly welcome in clubhouse.

Have played this course a few times now and each time the course just seems to get better and more enjoyable. Always in good condition. Not too hilly but a good walk especially the final couple of holes. Par 3 17th (signature hole) and par 4 18th are stand out holes. Greens always good. Friendly welcome always at clubhouse and pro shop. Well worth a visit for sure.

A little gem. Beautiful views all around make this a very pleasant day out. First couple of holes to blind greens so can be a little difficult but overall well worth a visit. Par 3 17th needs accurate tee shot as ditch around green not visible from tee box. 18th great finishing hole with tee shot over deceptive ravine.2 great holes to end on. Staff very welcoming, club house not very pretty but friendly. Recommend it to anyone.

Very picturesque course set above the Wharfe Valley. Quite a short course but some tight and interesting holes make it a good challenge.
Went on a Groupon deal so very good value for money, although the usual green fees of £28 would be a bit steep.

Beautiful views. Course in good condition and very reasonable (for a guest). Most greens are blind from the tee, so good to have some local knowledge. Very hilly and the pull up from 17th green to 18th tee, and then facing 140 yards to a MASSIVE ditch, can be quite daunting.
