What the club says: Blair Atholl Golf Club has a course that is a classic James Braid design, using natural contours to best effect, and has been augmented recently with the addition of several ponds crafted in local stonework. It is generally easy-walking parkland with short climbs to and from a plateau, which is a prominent feature affording fine views from the clubhouse and elevated tee and green positions for several of the holes. Golfers particularly appreciate the variety of the course. The par 3s range from a wedge shot between towering Scots pines onto (hopefully) a tightly guarded green in the valley below, to a full drive along the edge of the River Garry (undoubtedly one of Scotland’s most challenging holes from the back tees).

A very enjoyable afternoon of golf with my old man and his friend from the club. Will be back soon to challenge him again.

Great course , every hole has it's own challenge. 1st is a good opening hole, watch the railway at the 4th !! greens always in good nick.
