What the club says: Bewdley Pines is par 69 course which welcomes visitors to try their skills and enjoy its beautiful settings.
The course is based on sandy soil, so even on the wettest of days the course drains within a very short time, and very rarely are days lost due to the weather, also there has never been a trolley ban on the course just showing how good the drainage is.

This course offers the perfect combination of a picturesque setting and a challenging test. With great playability all year round and significant improvements to the greens and overall course conditions, it's a must visit.

Its rained for weeks and its dry!

Me and my partner (best mate) went to a couple of courses during the winter and like most winter golf had to play on temp greens and walk through rivers to play. We hared that Bewdley was a dry winter course and we set out to play yesterday. We were very imporessed and ranked it near to the top of the courses that we have played over the last 3 years. The holes are varied and make you think and the course its in immaculate condition given the 3 months of rain we have had. We went off at 11.30 and there were a few old boys infront. It slowed the game down quite a bit, but the views on some of the holes made it worth slowing down.

Really looking forward to playing again in the summer.

Great Winter Course

Played on 15/12/23, club house was very welcoming and the full breakfast was good.
The course surprised me in how dry it was, and we played off the grass tee boxes.
The fairways were in good condition, the layout interesting with the 4th in particular requiring you to plan your strategy.
I thought the greens were in excellent condition, they were happy to accept a ball from height, yet were true and fast.
A great day out in mid December, I will definitely be back.

Bewdley pines

Played the course after rain so greens receptive. The front 7 holes demand accuracy off the tee keep to the left as the slopes will work your ball down to the right. From 8 through to 18 the course opens up more giving you a real chance to score low.

Best course you've never heard of

Brilliant, challenging layout. Unforgiving of anything off line. Plenty to think about, especially with the 'driveable' par 4s.

This is the 2nd time I have ever played this course and I will return again for sure.
The course is not long but is a real test. There are a number of blind holes where thought has to come into the Tee shot. The 3rd hole is quite possibly the narrowest hole I have ever played. The course was busy but the pace of play was good.

Great course

Never played here before and must say what a treat. Superb greens ( best I've played all year and it's November!). Not a long course but played off the white tees and there?s some very right holes that require precision positional play to even have a shot at the greens. Excellent all round.

Wow it was warm

Given the current very dry hot weather conditions the greens were in fantastic conditions. Evening meal was excellent with very friendly staff.
