What the club says: Set in 210 acres of rolling countryside, amidst six picturesque lakes is a testing 6,723-yard Par 72 Championship course featuring four teeing areas on each hole from blue to red, offering an immensely challenging but fair test of golf for players of all standards.
Designed by the internationally renowned course architect, Dave Thomas, who is famous for his design of many highly rated international golf courses, including The Belfry. The greens are built to USGA specifications providing year round play.
There is excellent drainage, providing members with great course playability all year round. Full irrigation including fairways ensures we can present the course in the best possible condition throughout the year.

It is walkable but fairly undulating. Not for many buggies for hire so book early

Course in poor condition
Poor tee boxes and greens (except for a few towards the end of the round) fairways very boggy/muddy but can't control that as has been wet recently. Round should be £20 cheaper across the board for the quality of the course.Reviewer Rating

Not as exciting as expected
I had had my hopes built by others telling me what a nice course this was but expectations were over set. Yes there were some scenic holes with water especially close to the end but it was mostly flat or gently rolling & the fairways were very wide. The greens generously sized too but they could have been far quicker & with greater breaks so one to see how it plays later in the year.Reviewer Rating

nice course edge of London
Played 1st April & felt like fools after a couple of snow showers. On the hills so exposed to the elements but dry with good mix of holes. Greens had been worked on so probably a bit slicker come May but some are very sloped back to front or right to left. Nice club house with views of course. Quality course
A lovely golf course with excellent staff and a very warm welcome. Greens were surprisingly slow though for an August day.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 92 Handicap: 20.8)

A nice and long course!
Lovely, rolling course - plenty of up and down fairways. Was quite boggy which made for difficult fairway shots, plus lots of worming on show, creating piles of mud often. But nice course, can imagine it's gorgeous in summertime.(Round played: Nov 2019 - Score: 119 Handicap: 23.9)

NIce Parkland course
Not bad condition for March. A little wet and muddy but where isn't. Its a nice venue, with some good holes. The par threes are very good(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 97 Handicap: 18.4)
