What the club says: The main 18 hole Church Course is a challenge for both the experienced and casual golfer. It is kept well manicured with tree lined fairways, ditches and ponds. The feature hole is the 13th par 5. This was for many years the longest hole in the country measuring 621 yards.
The Village 9 hole Course consists of par 3’s and par 4’s but don’t be misled into thinking it is easy – it is not. This is a great course for beginners.

Considering the lack of rain, fairways were muddy and poor

Very nice course
Played here on a nice sunny day, found the course to be in excellent condition, the greens were fast and tricky but overall it was nice to see a putt roll! The clubhouse has been refurbished and is looking good. Good value for money, friendly staff although barman didn’t understand what a bitter top was!I shall return!

A GEM IN NORTH WATFORD
A very well matured course with plenty of different holes on good day you can reach the long par 5 in three shots if you get the correct bounce. Will play again this weekend.Reviewer Rating

Tight and a challenge
Played the village course for the 7th time and found since the green keepers had got out cut the fairways and redressed the greens and fairways it played tough didnt make it easy with lightning fast greens \Reviewer Rating

I like out the layout & there are plenty of trees to be negotiated or avoided so not the best place to be lose your accuracy of the tee. Bunkers were mixed between nicely sanded or not.

Nice food, shame about the mud
Incredibly muddy and wet. Nothing on website to say it was carry only or thay the course was closed the day before. Staff in the restaurant were very welcoming and food was lovely.Reviewer Rating

Contacted the course on the morning and told it was carry only, so light golf bag and a few clubs.
Enjoyed the course and the staff at the club were very helpful and pleasant.
Thank you to Martin in the golf shop.

Ripped Off
I played on Sunday 2nd April and was made to feel i was getting a good deal by paying the online price of £45 in the pro shop instead of the £50 summer rate. I was most certainly ripped off. It was carry bags only and the course was in awful condition. I understand we have had a lot of rain so the decision should have been to close the course and if it had to stay open for financial reasons then winter rates should have been extended. Because of this experience I wont be going back as there are so many good courses to choose from.Reviewer Rating
