Part 1 of 2 reviews.

Played the Front 9 today, started 4,3,4 not a bad start However the scorecard had me at two over. Yes the 1st three holes certainly help get you eye and aim in as they are Par 3s.

Great looking course, well kept, greens very well looked after considering the amount of pitch marks there could be. The view from the 3rd is awesome, looking out over RAF Kinloss and onto the sea.

Very friendly staff happy to have a conversation, can't comment on food this time.

It's my home course so i'm a bit biased.
Very friendly welcome that mostly caters for pay and play. Some very challenging holes, and steep climbs - but in a glorious setting over the moray firth
