PUMA GOLF Launches 2016 Spring/Summer Apparel Collection

By: Golfshake Editor | Tue 12 Apr 2016

PUMA GOLF has unveiled its new Spring Summer Collection for 2016. Brand ambassador Alvaro Quiros, a six-time winner on the European Tour, helped to launch the new range and gave his thoughts on representing PUMA this year.

“PUMA Golf is a great fit for me, and I’m excited to be part of the team,” said Quiros. “They have fashionable apparel that fits my style and allows me to still perform my best on course. I look forward to representing PUMA Golf on Tour in 2016 and beyond.”

To address the elements, the new Spring Summer collection introduces PWRCOOL, a moisture-activated Xylitol print engineered to actively cool body temperature when it is needed most. PWRCOOL is sweat activated, and designed to optimise performance by managing the body’s core temperature.

Other key technologies within the collection include CoolMax Extreme, the highest standard for CoolMax fabric, a lightweight, soft and breathable fabric that absorbs moisture by pulling it off the skin and into the fast-drying fabric; Cleansport NXT finish, a bio-based treatment that uses natural enzymes to reduce odor-causing organic materials; Dri-Release moisture management to keep golfers dry and comfortable; and UPF treatment to provide protection from the sun. The collection also features PWRWARM pieces, a new PUMA technology originally introduced in last season’s collections that utilise an innovative ceramic print to retain body heat and create a warmer microclimate without the bulk or weight of traditional cold weather fabrics.

We think Alvaro is pleased. For more on PUMA Golf's Spring/Summer 2016 Collection, visit: cobragolf.com
