De Vere Service Excellence Underlined at Annual ‘59Club’ Awards

De Vere received some of the highest accolades available at the annual 59Club Awards, where a number of the group’s marquee resorts were awarded for highest levels of service excellence.

Five of the premium resorts were honoured at the ceremony, including The Belfry, managed by De Vere, which claimed the highest honours by not only receiving the highly coveted ‘Gold Flag Award’, but also being named as ‘The Ultimate Golf Resort 2014’.

Two further resorts were awarded the ‘Silver Flag Award’, with the class of Slaley Hall in Northumberland and Belton Woods, Lincolnshire being recognised by the industry, as two of the six venues to receive this standard.

In addition, the hard work and first class customer service of two individual resorts’ sales teams were honoured with Dunston Hall in Norwich taking home the ‘Leisure Membership Sales Team Of The Year’ award and Carden Park in Cheshire, winning both ‘Golf Sales Team Of The Year’ and ‘Golf Membership Sales Team of the Year’. The excellence of the De Vere portfolio was even further highlighted by The Belfry being chosen to host the ceremony.
