Cleveland Golf Launch New Classic XL Range

Cleveland Golf has introduced its new range of Classic drivers, fairway woods and hybrids, promising golfers forgiveness, flight, feel and distance in 2013.

Cleveland Classic XL

The Classic XL Driver has the largest and deepest club face of any driver in golf, and an even larger sweet spot for maximum forgiveness.

The Cleveland Classic XL features the largest, deepest driver face in golf, meaning the largest effective hitting area for incredible confidence on the tee. An enhanced variable face thickness technology creates incredibly fast ball speed on off-centre hits for unprecedented forgiveness. The centre of gravity has been moved deeper in the club head to promote higher launch and more penetrating flight. The Classic XL driver has had weight removed from the grip and shaft for a higher balance point, which maintains a traditional feel while promoting more speed through impact. All Classic XL drivers have a total weight of 285g and are fitted with the tour-proven, aftermarket Miyazaki B. Asha shaft, which produces a mid-high trajectory with added speed.

Cleveland Clasic XL Custom

 The Classic XL Custom Driver has the largest and deepest club face of any driver in golf with an even larger sweet spot. Whats more the Classic XL is now adjustable! 

An adjustable hosel and interchangeable weight port allow any golfer to tune the driver for precise performance.

The adjustable hosel can be moved to one of 12 different settings for optimal face angle and flight, while an interchangeable weight port allows swingweight to be optimized for every player. With the largest, deepest driver face in golf, it means the largest effective hitting area for incredible confidence on the tee. An enhanced variable face thickness technology creates incredibly fast ball speed on off-centre hits for unprecedented forgiveness. The Classic XL Custom is available in three different premium shafts: Miyazaki JDL 6 (mid launch), Fubuki Tour 53 (lightweight, high launch) and Matrix Ozik Black Tie 6M3 (penetrating launch). The Classic XL Fairway features one of the largest fairway wood faces in golf, meaning a large effective hitting area for incredible confidence over every shot. The enhanced variable face thickness technology of the Classic XL Fairway creates incredibly fast ball speed on off-centre hits for unprecedented forgiveness. The centre of gravity has been moved deeper in the club head to promote mid-high launch and more penetrating flight. Fitted with a Matrix OZIK XCON-6 Shaft the Classic XL Fairway provides maximum performance and stable feel 

Cleveland Classic Hybrid

Style and confidence are now available in a hybrid. Incredible distance is combined with Gliderail Technology for more speed and forgiveness from any lie.

Engineered for maximum distance and forgiveness from the rough, sand, tee or fairway the Classic Hybrid offers golfers all-around performance. The Gliderail Sole combines two rails with a subtle centre keel, which measurably decreases turf drag for more lift and speed at impact. Centre of gravity has been moved deeper in the club head to promote higher launch and a more penetrating flight.
