FootJoy announce upgrades to popular ranges
FootJoy have unveiled a number of performance upgrades and styling improvements to its ‘Big Four’ golf shoe categories ahead of the 2013 golfing season. Footjoy have announced that they now have their most complete FJ product-line ever, the immensely popular FJ ICON™, XPS-1™, DryJoys Tour™ and FJ Sport™ families have all been upgraded to provide the consumer with an even greater choice of patterns and modern colours along with a multitude of cutting-edge technologies.

FootJoy's flagship FJ ICON family sees the introduction of new upper patterns and outsole cosmetics alongside the latest technological advancements which Footjoy say delivers optimum comfort, stability and traction. FootJoy have taken inspiration from the companies rich heritage, this fashionable category offers exquisite styling throughout, utilising premium full grain leathers and luxurious calfskin detailing for a premium look. The Outsole technology includes a perforated Alloy ICON Torque Bar for unrivalled support, stability and powe, FJ ICON is worn in competition by numerous FJ brand ambassadors, including Luke Donald, Lee Westwood and current Masters Champion, Bubba Watson.
Since its launch a year ago, the XPS-1 golf shoe has made somewhat of an impact amongst golfers looking to take advantage of the levels of platform stability that the Xtreme Outsole design provides. Three-time Major Champion, Padraig Harrington and PGA Tour winner, Jason Dufner have both excelled in this design that creates an ultra-wide platform under foot for maximum ground contact and traction where it matters most. Full grain leather uppers utilising the ECL™ (Extreme Comfort Leather) Leather system by Pittards® combined with Armor-Tan™ Abrasion resistance for extremely soft and breathable comfort without the use of a membrane.
