Awesome Golf Adds Two New Courses to Simulator App

Introducing two prestigious golf courses as part of its latest update, users of the Awesome Golf Simulator across all compatible launch monitors will receive access to Wentworth’s West Course and Dubai’s Majlis Course at the Emirates Golf Club as part of its 3.0 software update.

3.0 also includes a new Virtual Golf leaderboard, global Virtual Golf competitions, five new clubs to play with and golden bricks in its iconic Wrecking Balls game. 

A team of in-house developers has been working on the courses since signing the licensing agreement earlier this year, perfecting the software. The product has undergone extensive Beta testing in recent months with Frank Fasano from Golficity commenting: "Make no mistake, this is the Awesome Golf update we’ve all been waiting for! The addition of two new championship, 18-hole virtual golf courses takes the program to a whole new level, and makes it one of the most well-rounded and robust golf simulator software programs we’ve ever tested."

As well as creating a realistic representation of these famous courses, the team has manually adapted the courses to give users a choice of five different tee positions - just as there are in the existing virtual Awesome golf courses. This makes these championships courses enjoyable and playable for golfers of all ages and abilities, with the shortest tee position ensuring that the course in play has no hazards. 

Founder of Awesome Golf, Gavin Hamer said: "It was always our ambition to include real courses in Awesome Golf Simulator, but with expectations being so high, getting them to a point that we were happy to release them has been challenging. We now have two courses that we are extremely proud of, enabling golfers around the world to follow in the footsteps of some of the most iconic names in golf."

For less than 5% of the green fee to play the West Course at Wentworth, Awesome Golf software delivers a superb practice and game simulator experience for every level of golfer. Whilst fun games and challenges are perfect for all the family, its detailed range and coaching modes paired with virtual and real golf courses make it the ideal software for the dedicated golfer too. Awesome Golf is available across a wide range of launch monitors from Foresight Sports, Garmin, FlightScope, Rapsodo and Bushnell.  

In total, there will be a total of six world renowned courses available through Awesome Golf, four of which are still in development. Awesome Golf is available to download on iOS, Android and PC.
