New Sustainable Golf Apparel Company Reflo Launched
A new golf, active and leisurewear apparel company, Reflo, has launched with an emphasis on the creation of sustainable products crafted from recycled waste.
Additionally, for every product purchased, Reflo plants a tree, with a mission to plant one million trees over the next five years.
Reflo launches with an extensive collection of quality men’s apparel, which has been aimed at disrupting the fast fashion industry in addition to leaving a positive impact on the planet.
The clothing has been created through advanced technical fabrics which have been woven from recycled waste.
To highlight this, discarded single use plastic and coffee beans have been given a new life within the Reflo range.
The company, based in the UK, are hoping to recycle at least five million plastic bottles by 2026.
Moreover, all of the fabrics that are present within the products adhere to multiple sustainability certifications including Global Recycled Standard, Bluesign, Oeko-Tex 100 and U Trust.
In total, there are 57 products that are available within the Reflo launch and these include: leisure, golf and active edits.
The range has been meticulously designed, and the products will remain relevant for years thanks to the inbuilt durability.
Furthermore, the company are working on solutions to become fully circular by the end of next year.
Founder of Reflo, Rory MacFadyen, noted:
“We are so excited to launch Reflo, it’s been a project several years in the making through some challenging global events! There is space in the industry for a brand to be cool while also caring about the world and the people in it. Fast fashion is having a devastating impact on the environment and we know it’s one of the most polluting industries in the world, which is why we don’t think it’s enough to just minimise our environment impact.”
For every product that is sold, one tree will be planted in areas of the world that have been devastated by deforestation.
The brand is hoping to plant one million trees by 2026 and then going forward, they aim to plant a minimum of one million trees on an annual basis.
Sustainability is at the forefront of everything Reflo do and represent, as they offset carbon of their entire workforce and all of their packaging is recycled and/or recyclable and there is no single-use plastics in the supply chain.
MacFadyen continued:
“Every aspect of our business strives to make a positive imprint with concrete action; we do less but do it better. We won’t release new lines every week. We won’t produce endless samples. There’s nothing fast about our fashion. Everything in our collection is precisely designed, rigorously tested, and crafted to stand the test of time. We created Reflo to help people look good, feel good and do good.
“We’re not perfect - that’s what pushes us to keep improving. We’re always looking for ways to be more sustainable, more efficient, more effective. And we won’t stop. The world is moving - so are we.”
