Take on The Big Golf Race for Prostate Cancer UK
If you are looking for a challenge this summer, why not consider taking on The Big Golf Race and fundraise for Prostate Cancer UK.
This disease exists in every golf club and recent data confirmed that prostate cancer is now the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK, making it essential that awareness and funds are raised within the golf community.
Backed by former Masters champion Danny Willett, in launching The Big Golf Race, PCUK is offering something for everyone, ensuring that all golfers will have the opportunity to contribute.
For the most adventurous, the Marathon involves playing four rounds, 72 holes, in one day. If you would prefer a somewhat more relaxed pace, the Half Marathon requires two rounds of 18 holes. However, if multiple rounds isn't a possibility, then you could embark on the Sprint that demands playing 18 holes as quickly as you can!
Should you enter The Big Golf Race, engage with your club to see what support they can offer to guarantee socially distanced golf, and golfers should ensure that they follow government guidance on safety.
And the top fundraising team will claim the ultimate prize, just to add an extra touch of motivation.
