Golf enthusiasts can now have private indoor golf tuition in the comfort of the Birmingham Golf School.

Midland based Golf Professional Simon Firkins set up the facility, the only one if it's kind in the city centre to focus on individual lessons for both beginner and experienced golfers. Golf swing analysis is used with lessons as it helps to show what is being done - right or wrong. Comparisons are made at various stages of the swing with those of top professionals who have excellent swing techniques, such as Tiger Woods or Luke Donald. Our pupils are then sculpted in to position at the start of the golf swing and manoeuvred through the entire sequence, slowly and with clarity.

Explanation at every stage helps build a swing frame by frame just as it would appear on a slow motion replay. You don't need to see the ball fly but rather focus on the golf swing which is what makes indoor golf coaching so effective.

By identifying separate elements of the ideal swing and devising exercises to suit the needs of individual players the separate stages are integrated in to a sweet , free flowing and technically sounds action that will give a consistent flight to the ball and incredible accuracy.

The school is open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturdays 1pm to 4pm
