Connect With Your Game - Iron Shots
One of the most annoying things to happen to any golfer on the course is the frustrating 3-putt on the green. There is nothing worse than hitting a difficult a green with your iron shot, but still walking off with a bogey.
While many people might blame their putting technique or stroke, Andy Carter believes that one problem may actually be down to the shot into the green and not the difficult putt. By focusing on which areas of the green will leave you with an easier and more makeable putt when you are stood over your iron shot, your promixity to the hole will tend to be more precise and leave you in better positions.
Combine this thought with a more careful and sensible club selection in regards to the flag position on the green, and Carter believes your promixity to the hole will start to increase, hugely effecting and possibility limitting the amout of 3-putts you will have in the future.
