What the club says: Twisted Stone Golf Course is an attractive, challenging and enjoyable Pay and Pay Golf Course. Designed by Peter Allis and opened in 1999, the course is surprisingly mature for its age, and provides the ideal layout for any standard of golfer from novice to professional.
Measuring 6,300 yards from the white tees, this parkland course is cleverly designed, with winding fairways and several water hazards, leaving you with plenty to think about during your round.
Situated in the beautiful Surrey countryside, Traditions provides a great location for a relaxing game of golf in tranquil surroundings.

Millionaires Golf
Seems to be the poor relation to Pyrford along the road but I have to say I prefer playing here. New owners are planning to invest through Winter and I think this will be a peach of a course next Summer. Plenty of good holes and never seems busy. Water on enough holes to keep it interesting. Needs the TLC they are planning but still plays well. Works for golf days as well. Reasonably priced. Practice facilities are a little below par.Reviewer Rating

Awful place
Don’t waste your time. Looks like the place is being wound down for development to me. Avoid.Reviewer Rating

Run down
Sunday afternoon and we were the only ones out there, not a good course and not looked after and for £30 not good value(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 99 Handicap: 13.1)

Plenty of water
This used to be another good pay and play but seems to be looking a little run down on my last visit which is a shame as this could be a decent course(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: 0)

Improving course
Having not played the course for a while because of poor condition, it was noticeably better today and I would return to play at a decent price.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 95 Handicap: 19.3)

Potentially a great course
Having played here numerous times in the past and seen the course in awful condition, I’m pleased to report the course is getting better. Fairways are in reasonable condition, greens have recently been treated but are much better than previously. Bunkers are starting to become in play although the contain plenty of rocks. Still think £25 off peak is too much but will certainly be back during the summer.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 91 Handicap: 16)

John
Course has greatly improved since last visit. Greens are in much better nick, running true and fast. Green keepers have done a fantastic job in getting course back to where it should be. Will definitely be back(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 12.7)

Getting back to it?s best
Great effort by the new owner and the greenkeeping staff to revive this challenging course. Lack of investment and maintenance by the previous owner left the course in a very poor condition. Course was in good shape considering the amount of rain overnight. Will definitely be worth visiting in the springReviewer Rating

Apocalyptic
After the world is devastated by an apocalypse, a group of blokes happen upon what used to be a course a year later... In an absolutely terrible condition (and it was clearly once a decent pay as you play). Fairways indistinguishable from the rough. Greens pure moss. Tee boxes in tatters. Looks like it has been bought to be run down and sold for development. Pro shop was the bar and the staff looked at me blankly. If the green fee had been £10, then you’d know what to expect but we paid £28 each. Virtually a crime to charge that. I’m a member at a pay as you play and fully understand it is difficult to maintain the course in winter but this looks like no-one has tended to it in months. Very sad but don’t waste your time.Reviewer Rating
