New Course - worth a visit
Interesting course to play. Greens the best in the area by far - must be lightening in summer! Good course layout, hazards in all the right places? Definitely worth a visit. Clubhouse facilities quite basic at the moment and no nets or putting practice facilities.(Reviewer Rating

Great new course
Really good layout, lovely mix of some longer/shorter par 4's and 5's. Few little tempting holes where you can either play for position or give driver a whack. The greens and surrounding areas are of tour quality, some of the run offs can be fairly penal. Greens are big and fairly undulating testing your short game, but overall great fun will be had.
The course is new, still needs time for certain areas to bed in and show some growth, but really excited to see what this place can achieve going forward.
Side note, the long term facilities arent finished yet, so temp clubhouse and pro shop, but still get an excellent level of service.

Inspired
The course had only just opened in June 2024 so I wasn't really sure what to expect with it being billed as a mix of inland links, sandbelt and parkland and so close to London. But it definitely lived up to its name and no doubt will be described as an inspiration once the temp pro-shop and hospitatlity facitlities are replaced with a permanent modern day clubhouse and facilities. In terms of the course, it provided a lovely mix of holes with views of London in the distance and despite the seemingly flat(ish) landscape you never really felt like you were ontop of another hole or looking back at holes you had just played. This was due to the clever layout and routing of the holes and the way that the courses has been constructed in what was once open land. The layout also offered something you don't always see with a lovely variety of risk and reward holes and I've no doubt playing the course a second time would be just as enjoyable as the first and likely offer something completely new. Walking off the course it was definitly one of those courses you could immediately play again and as a member probably never tire of playing.
As you would expect having only just opened the course was in pretty good condition with a few minor areas where the courses was still bedding in but on the whole it was fabulous and a joy to play. The bunkers also had some nice touches with some well-designed revitting and the greens were second to none. Simply put, the greens were large, pure and true and with the size and undulation on offer they provided some fun challenges in their own right.
To sum up this is definitely a golf course I would go back to and would highly recommend especially given the current green fee price, although I'd expect that to go up considerably once the course becomes widen known and the facilities updated.
