Tricky in the wind
Breezy day and a long walk, albeit quite a short course. I carried my bag and there are some long walks between holes. Nice course with a couple of interesting holes. Friendly staff and a nice outdoor seating area with outdoor bar and snack serving.Reviewer Rating

Both courses here in terrible condition
Just come back from a golf trip to Portugal. These 2 courses (alamos and morgado) are in awful condition. Management tried to make out it was due to lack of rain. Funnily enough all the other courses we played on the area were just fine. Avoid these two until they invest done money on them. They're truly awful.Reviewer Rating

Always great to play
Third time playing Alamos, always great, fun to play. Greens a bit patchy in areas but still giving a good roll. A good test of golf with some tricky holes, not always driver off the tee. Nice clubhouse for after round drinks.Reviewer Rating

Fast undulated greens, good challenge
Great course, greens are rapid and undulated, no easy putt but true. Greens are smaller than sister course Morgado, and layout tighter but nevertheless really enjoyable. You need to be on your game here, highly recommend. Clubhouse drinks and food excellent. Good driving range, 4 euros for a bucket of balls.Reviewer Rating

Surprisingly excellent
This course is on the same site as Morgado which is touted as the bigger and better layout compared to Alamos. I found Alamos to be far more entertaining to play with a much more varied and interesting layout. Condition in October was good, (not as good as Morgado admittedly). Second hole was probably the most memorable.Reviewer Rating

Exquisite and challenging!
The Algarve has so many lovely courses but this is one of the finest. Scenically, it is pretty exquisite but to focus on the golf, it is a real test and keeps you thinking on every hole. Do play here if you can!Reviewer Rating

Tough
A tough course, very tight and the greens are incredibly difficult. You just have to work through it.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 103 Handicap: 26.8)

Great Course in the Portuguese Countryside
Played here a few times and it is always in great condition with tricky and fast greens. Can get quite hot as it is inland from the coast(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 16.3)

NIce course to play whilst on holiday
Played this course for the first time, impressive set up, nice clubhouse. Morgado is the other course on site which playing later in the week. great warm up facilities, driving range, chipping and putting area. Quite hilly course so grateful we had a buggy in with the green fee. Course in great condition, greens mint. was very quiet when we played. Not the longest course but one or two testing holes. well worth a round if staying around Lagos or Alvor.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 75 Handicap: 6.5)
