Great condition - hidden gem
The course is always in exceptional condition. Once the new clubhouse open that will further improve the offering.Reviewer Rating

Totally unique, fabulous course
I've played a number of courses in Dubai and many are quite similar. The likes of The Els, Dubai Hills, The Earth etc are all absolutely fabulous quality but many are set inland amongst desert and overall (aside for the amazing quality golf courses) are fairly featureless. Al Zorah is anything but. The mangrove swamps and the 'floating' tees make for an incredible experience. My playing partners (including one of the most renowned golf journalists in the UAE!) are regular visitors from Dubai (which is just an hour's drive away through Sharjah). They said on some occasions you see flocks of flamingoes standing in the water around the course!Really loved the holes that required a drive over water. Some incredible perfectly manicured holes. Lots of fun and well worth a visit compared to the courses 'reclaimed' from the desert if you want something a bit different.

Great course off main Dubai rota
Course has great potential to improve with new clubhouse. Course in excellent condition. Greens excellent and excellent challenge with Mangroves and lots of bunkers, but need bit more sand in bunkers.Reviewer Rating

Great Venue, Great Price
A wonderful member of the UAE's golfing portfolio, Al Zohra is a fine course with varying degrees of difficulty depending on your tee choice. Twilight rate (from 1pm) of AED205 is a superb deal in a country that offers high level golf at prices that are normally pocket-troubling. Course was in great shape aside from the divots and pitch marks left behind by those with little golfing etiquette. Definitely one to consider if contemplating a golfing break down the road in Dubai.Reviewer Rating

Beautiful condition in an original setting
The course was in tip top condition when we played, the fairways are as good as I've ever seen. Greens were very true - some people had an issue with the bunkers which had very soft sand, though I liked them. The lay-out is relatively forgiving bar the tidal waste areas; if you're wayward off the tee, you'll need a few balls. My only real issue was the difference of the black to the gold tees, which was too large. I'm a medium to long hitter and nearly all par fours were played with a drive and a wedge. On one par five I hit a great drive and only had a wedge in (I am told the prevailing wind had changed, but still...). If you're hotting the ball clean and straight, it's quite an easy course. Will try it off the black tees next time, when I suspect it wont be!(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 96 Handicap: 16.1)

Gem of a course this Al Zorah
It is slightly out of the way - 30 mins drive from Dubai but well worth the drive. The course is in immaculate condition and offers great value for money. Some very challenging holes and accuracy off the tee shot key to scoring well.Reviewer Rating

Loved It!
This course was about an £70 cab ride from our hotel (near the Burj Al Arab) in a different Emirate. But, with four of us it was very low. Course fees are lower too so you certainly get back to cost parity. It is like playing in a wetlands park... loads of waders (eg flamingos etc) to watch while you play.
Not many times in the UAE do you see so much wildlife in one place... but this is in a river delta.
Staff really good. Food was a bit 'out there' as they have a restaurant that focusses on Sushi... which I'm not sure most golfers will be in to long term,
