Fairways cannot be distinguished from rough. Fairways and semi-rough not maintained. General course condition - poor. Players are not repairing pitch marks.

We play this course often as it\'s close to home making it convenient. The design of the course and setting in my opinion is great and very original. However, the condition of the course is very bad and unfortunately seems to be further deteriating with time. \\The fairways are poor with the majority of it not having a full grass covering with weeds. The fairways are also not mown often enough and are almost always the same lenghth as what a first cut of rough should be. They also seem to be very dry and are only slightly green in summer.\\The rough is very patchy and is mainly made up of weeds due to a lack of watering.\\The greens are ok, although over the course of a year have seemed to deteriate some what, and seem to be very dry and hard. \\Overall the course needs a lot of attention. There is clearly very little watering and fertilising going on, because the only time the course is green is during the rainy season, and even then, it isn\'t a \"healthy green\". The course isn\'t mown and manicured often enough; fairway\'s grass is too long, water traps look untidy and bunkers almost always have grass and weeds growing in them with stones. Cart paths that have recently been marked out on the course don\'t seem to make sense, as in many instances the path zig zags accross the fairway.\\It is really a pity about the golf course which doesn\'t seem to be at the same level as the estate and location; the setting is unique and one that takes a lot to beat, and the fascilities (Clubhouse and surrounds) are very good.\\If you look at pictures of the course taken in 2008 (http://www.golfersfriend.co.za/clubdeta
