What the club says: The course is a challenging 5,356 yards, and there is not one sand trap to contend with – which only adds credence to the natural layout and individuality. However, there are enough trees and water to capture one's attention. The greens are the prime feature. The mixture of poa and bent grass has, over time, created a carpet-like cushion that entices you to discard your shoes and walk over them barefoot.

Nice course that seems to be made up of par 3's and 5's, including a monster 600 yard 14th. Unusally, there are only 4 par 4's.
Not a course that will test lower HC players, although there are a couple of tricky holes to contend with. The par 3 8th is hidden away behind trees with only a gap to aim for.
There are better courses to play nearby, but that's no excuse for not giving oakwood a chance.
