What the club says: The Club at Bond Head has two magnificent golfing experiences. Each is spectacular in its own right and although they might be right next-door to each other, they are worlds apart.
The moment you step onto the South Course at Bond Head you are taken back to a time when golf originated. A traditional Links style course with daunting rough, tall deep fescue and ragged edged bunkers will test even the most seasoned player. Reminiscent of a course more commonly found in Northern Ireland, The South Course at Bond Head is deep in tradition and offers an experience unlike any other.
The North Course at Bond Head is every bit as challenging as the South Course but the exact opposite in design. Being a more traditional design, the North Course offers dramatic elevation changes, perfectly checkered bent-grass fairways, lush bluegrass rough lined with a variety of trees.

Hilly, tricky, forced carries
Bond Head South Course is the course I typically play when I visit Bond Head, but there was a tournament during this last round. Hence my playing the North course this day with my uncle. It's a nice course with beautiful views, a by product of the elevation changes. This also creates tricky tee shot strategies and forced carries which can be difficult for shorter hitters like my uncle. Nonetheless, course conditions were excellent and a second visit should yield better scoring.Reviewer Rating

Nice heathlands course
The weather was ideal, unfortunately the greens were not. The marshall said that they covered the greens with sand to protect them from the heat. The pace of the foursome in front also didn't help matters. The marshall tried to get them move faster, but in fairness, we were a threesome as was the group behind us. Nonetheless, the rest of the course was in good shape. Beautiful vistas and a challenging layout.Reviewer Rating
