What the club says: Waterfront Golf Course is located in the heart of South Yorkshire. Set in 170 acres of beautiful established parkland. The course takes in breathtaking views of the surrounding Old Moor Nature Reserve and Manvers Lake.

Our stunning 9 hole golf course designed by international course architect Simon Gidman E.I.G.C.A incorporates 18 different Tees measures over 6500 yards and is one of the longest of it's kind in the UK, with USGA specification greens, strategically placed bunkers & tight fairways it is a true test of golf!!

Nice 9-hole course with great off-course facilities.
Disappointed that men have 2 sets of tees but us ladies only the one so 18-holse would be identical.

Nice course. Need to be fairly accurate as rough can be punishing. We were looking for a few balls having never played before and not knowing the 'line'. Interesting though, didn't find it at all boring although because it is only 9 holes playing the same 9 twice is less appealing. Greens were some of the best we'd seen this season in terms of growth but they really needed a good rolling and they were quite bumpy which made putting difficult. I'm sure this was only temporary though - greens will change many times throughout the season. Excellent facilities. A nice place to play after work in an evening.

Good Course but very wet!!

Looks like a decent course but being close to a lake it was very wet and plent of plugged balls on fairways

Good course, a shame that a couple of the greens look like they have been vandalised as they have deep lines running through them

After playing this course for some years now in winter and summer I find other courses very easy. The staff are very friendly and helpful, 2 pro down there second to none, the list goes on, ladies and men play in the same competition Saturday and Sunday morning.
