What the club says: Built in a style resembling Augusta National, Charleston National is a championship calibre golf course with some of the best views on the southeast coast. Originally an exclusively private course, once Hurricane Hugo hit in 1990 it re-opened as semi-private so allowing visiting golfers the opportunity to enjoy its design and challenges. Set within some lovely parkland landscape, the course has some challenging par-4’s and tricky greens that need careful examination. Post golf the Rees Jones Bar and Grille is a great place to grab some food and enjoy a drink.
18 Holes, Par 72, Yardage 7064. Woodland.

along with alligators interesting course
set just outside Charleston - this course has been created out of marsh land - which explains the Alligators and Egrets and flamingos - as well as the long distances between holes - so Carts are a must. Lots of long carries for those who use the back tees - over water or marsh land - so be ready to loose balls, rather than take on an alligator. Greens in good condition and bunkers well sanded.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 101 Handicap: 17.2)
