Very Dissapointing refurbishing!
They just spent over a year and millions in refurbishing and the course is not any better except for the greens. Tee boxes hard as rock or soft that you cannot ground your tee. Fairways a mess, I'd like to think they did not have enough money, otherwise someone misused the funds available. Hate to criticize but they almost raised the prices 100% and I don't see the value. I will not be playing at my favorite Miami public course for a while its a shame.Reviewer Rating

Old Course still provides thrills!
Springs hosted the Miami Open for 25 years, Snead won it 6 times and has seen the best of players until its last tournament in 1956. Since that time it remained one of the best public courses in Miami. In the early part of this century it lapsed into decay but a new and female superintendent has brought life into the old girl. The greens need redoing and are on the slow side but the layout is still challenging and great round of golf.Reviewer Rating

An oldie but a goodie!
My favorite course in South Florida, new lady groundskeeper has done a remarkable job with this old course that once hosted a professional tournament, The Miami Open, from 1925 to 1956. Very challenging and rewarding, greens need redone and are a bit on slow end. But an excellent value for the money.Reviewer Rating

Home of the Old Miami Open
Miami Springs is Miami's grand old course. It has gone through some hard times but recently revived by a great female groundskeeper that has brought the fairways back to life and the greens in great shape. It is a slow put probable two numbers slower than most courses. It is a great challenge and good amenities.(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 82 Handicap: 10.7)

Great Old Course in Great Shape
They keep improving this course, even the old greens are in great shape. The staff are great, practice range on grass with good available balls and space, the putting greens are small but adequate.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 9.2)
