I remember one of my playing partners telling me how good Legends GC was. That was around ten years ago, and he was right about the course and there are some lovely looking holes here.
The big downside was in the condition. The fairways and tees could probably be described as average, but the greens were really bad. I am hoping that they have just been overseeded and are awaiting a cut, but it wasn't a great experience putting on them.
Get the greens right and this is worth a trip from the Orlando/Disney area.

Played here October 2010 while on holiday.
IS about 45 mins drive from Orlando.
We got a good deal on Golfnow.com ($27)
This includes Buggy, but just the basic one, no GPS or ice box etc on this one!
COurse was actually really nice, some beautiful holes and is in one of the higher parts of FLorida so quite a bit of elevation and slopes etc, makes a change from the normal flat Florida course. As a result it can get a wee bit windy up here, but is nice breeze on a hot day.
Typical of most courses in Florida there are sections in middle of housing communities.
WOuld recommend the course as something different in Florida, think if you are in Orlando its nice to go a bit further out, better value for money plus you get to see bit more of the country.
