What the club says: Southwyck Golf Club is a links style golf course which meanders through the Silverlake subdivision. It is a true links style course on the front nine as you have 4 holes going out away from the clubhouse, typically playing into the wind, and five holes coming back for the turn, typically playing downwind. The Champion Bermuda greens are an outstanding putting surface – called the bent grass of the south – we believe we have one of the finest sets of greens in Houston public golf. The fairways and tee boxes are always in top notch shape. A burn runs through the property and water comes into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The course plays anywhere from 5145 yards to 6914 yards.

Disappointing
Course is not as well maintained as it was 15-20 years ago. Doubt that I will play it again when visiting Houston, Texas in the future(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 79 Handicap: 13.4)
