I played this course several times when living in California and it never disappointed me. The staff were always helpful and when I became a regular there was never any problems getting their online exclusive deal as a walk-on single player in the pro shop. Since I enjoyed the course as a single player I was teamed up with other parties and met some really interesting people.
One downer is the driving range which is uphill and pretty short. Oh, and don't go searching after your ball if you go OB or in to the bushes. There are quite a few rattlesnakes...
