Good when quiet

Great when quiet . It can get too busy and slow with students playing 6 balls with one set of clubs. But it’s a good place to practice

Play here quite often as still getting back into paying, (sorting out the swing/fade etc. its a good little course for doing that but they need to keep an eye on people sneaking on without paying and how many people on a hole at once, (we counted nine people playing the same hole together today) Now the weather has turned they could do with improving the upkeep of the fairways and greens too.

Ok for practice

It’s a small course and there are novices there and play is slow , but that’s what it’s for . Beginners. And it’s great to have a course for those people to get into the game.

Great value nine-holer

Short, narrow and tricky nine hole pay & play course. If you concentrate on hitting straight, you can score reasonably well. If not you'll rack up a high number. Given the amount of rain in the area & the course's proximity to the River Aire, the greenkeepers do a remarkable job to keep it in such a good state, and at ?6 to go round twice, it's the best value course in Leeds. Recommended.

as a small course its ideal to play and sort out issues with your game, but there could be a little more attention paid to the condition of the greens especially.

Great beginners course

This is a great course for beginners or those coming back to golf after a long break. The greens can be a little rough but its a cheapand enjoyable way to play golf.

A great little course for all types of golfer.\St. Andrews it is not but if you get what you pay for then this course (£5 for 18 holes) Is certainly hitting above its weight.\Yes the greens are rough and the drainage on them makes it quite spongy in places but the fairways are in very good condition, it’s easy to navigate, you don’t need to book so just turn up and play and the ground staff were very friendly and helpful.\Yes it does need some more money invested as a private course so comparisons with gotts park next door are always going to draw comparisons, which is a municipal and has a lot more funding, as well as higher green prices at nearly triple this course.\It would be great if they upped the round cost a few pound to be able to afford to make the changes whilst still making the course still the cheapest around.\You have to realize that it’s courses like this that get people into golf, which is an expensive hobby for most people and the old stigmas don’t exist here that are still attached at some clubs. This club is open to all, whatever sex, age, appearance, clothing, with free club hire for a 4 ball if you don’t own any. \Yes it lacks the frills and whistles of others but It’s a great little course in a decent condition, accessible to absolutely everyone. What more can you want from a £5

Bang for buck....

?5 for 2x 9 holes. I'm a regular here as you can beat the price for a good practice. Over all it's not a bad course at all. Well maintained fairways and some of the greens aren't bad.
It's no 5* golf course but for ?5 it's fantastic.

If you\'re a casual player who doesn\'t want to fork out £30+ for a game and you just want a knock about, or you have kids and don\'t want to spend much money introducing them to the game, it\'s fine for £5. The fairways were ok, but the greens were awful in places. It\'s very short and the bunkers are poor - just a little step above a pitch and put really. Plus they don\'t take card so make sure you have cash on you!\\

£5. Well worth it. Greens are not the best but a testing little course especially if you go left. \Spoilt by the hackers and 6 ball using 1 set of clubs but that\'s down to poor management. \Not the best in winter but nice at the mo and getting better with good weather. \Good little course for your short game practice.
