Better than the usual UK hotel courses
As both courses are based at the Sueno Golf Hotel, I?ll try and cover both with a single review, especially as they are very similar, except for length. Pines is 6013 metres off yellow and Dunes is 5282 metres. The Pines is the longer of the two courses, and is therefore considered as their ?premium? course, with the Dunes being shorter, but of very similar design. This design includes fairways where there is rarely a flat lie, as all are made up of grass 'moguls?. These also mean that you rarely get a straight bounce, and some can be so wicked that a shot down the fairway ends up in the trees (or occasionally lost as I found out!).
Bunkers were well laid out and appropriately stocked with good quality sand, although there had been a lot of rain before our arrival, and the bunkers could do with as good raking to loosen up the sand.
Greens were large and with some decent undulations to make them interesting, but were really quite slow, which took some getting used to. There is a fair bit of water in play on both courses, and especially at the greens on the 9th and 18th of both courses, which are around the lake by the hotel. The 18th on Dunes is an island green.
There seemed to be good practice facilities about, in fact the putting green is probably the largest I've ever seen. I believe you need to book the driving range, which was a short walk, in front of the hotel (the courses are at the rear of the hotel). Moving to the hotel, this is supposed to be 5 star, but is looking very tired, and I guess you?d have to say it needs updating. As an idea of how dated; none of the rooms had USB charging ports, but they were pleasant enough, and as everything was ?all inclusive? for our break, complaints were minimal, except for the overpowering heat in the rooms, which it seemed impossible to turn down. Most of us turned it off and opened the balcony door!
There are better course and hotels around Belek, and whilst I would prefer to use those other facilities, if I want to go at the same time (I was there over Christmas), I will certainly stay and play here again if it is the only hotel on offer.

Dunes & Pines - 2 wonderful courses, great value
Both courses are tree lined and extremely well keep - tee boxes good, fairways in superb condition and greens very good (not as reported by others) but they do role too slow.Pines is the longer of the 2 courses, more challenging with undulating fairways, better suited to lower handicap players who can hit the ball above and below their feet.
Dunes is a lovely course, shorter but requires good positional play. Water well used with risk and reward. Only negative about Dunes is the stapleford index, 2-3 of the shorter/easier holes are incorrectly assigned (needs to be corrected).
Summary - 2 great courses, both very well keep and great value for money.
Note: Drinks buggy should be free if staying in the Sueno Delux Hotel (its not).

Part Of an amazing package
There are 2 course at the Sueno Hotel. We first played the Dunes and then played the Pines. Couple of great courses with my preference being the Dunes as opposed to the Pines. Some great holes with some not so easy pins to hit. A lot of Placement and you should not really go wrong.Reviewer Rating

Appalling condition of Sueno Dunes Course
7 of us played the Dunes course today (16 March 2023). What a disappointment - we were so excited when we arrived and looked at the island green on the 18th. The greens were absolutely terrible. They were slow and bumpy - had any greens staff tended to them lately? The tees had long uncut grass - what a terrible experience. Very disappointing experience.Reviewer Rating
