What the club says: Situated on the Coast at the foot of The Five Finger Mountain in Esentepe, the prestigious Korineum Golf & Country Club is proud to be the first 18 hole golf course in Northern Cyprus. Carved from a natural forest of Umbrella Pines and Olive trees, amongst others, with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea on one side, and breath taking views of the famous Five Finger Mountain range on the other, this makes for a truly memorable experience you will never forget.

Beautiful Course
Played there on the 20th of August 2022, teed off at 9:00 and the course was not busy. The course is very well kept and there were plenty of ground keepers out and about. This is a hard golf course though and not very forgiving so take plenty of balls. A buggy came round with drinks twice whilst we were playing which was essential as it was also very hot.If I go back to the area I will definitely play again.

I'd sure advise a buggy unless you're young and FIT.
One of the min points are the large number of guests at the hotel that come over en-masse from Iceland and just take over the driving range, putting and chipping greens.
Staying at the hotel also has it's min points .. the main one being that HALF BOARD was MANDATORY and I'm afraid the evening buffet (there's no a la carte) was iffy quality and very boring in choice.

(Round played: Jul 2015 - Score: 101 Handicap: 22.7)First course ever abroad and it was over 100 degrees by 09;00hrs. Super condition but wasn't to happy seeing a snake in the rough so never looked for any balls in there. Would go there again, 5 star complex and cheap in the heat of summer

You have to be very accurate to play this course. Most of the holes are very tight from the tee with many hazards both to the right and left where you will loose alot of balls. The fairways are like carpets and the greens are like billiard tables.
All the holes are named such as Vertigo, King Pin, Elevation , etc but there is one which should be called Monster. Why? A par three 200 yarder with a massive ravine to get over! Best course I've played! The views are stunning. The club house is superb. While you are on the course they bring drinks round. If you haven't seen one just ask the Marshall he get whatever you want! Great course and great service!
