What the club says: Situated On the site of the original Maryborough Golf club which dates back to the 1800's, Portlaoise Golf Club was born out of a passion to provide golfers, of all abilities, with a Golf Course that combines traditional design with a distinctly Irish blend. It is a Golf Course where members and visitors can enjoy the game of golf in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The 18 hole parkland course is playable all year round with gentle rolling fairways and greens and where water comes into play on a number of holes. This course will prove a test for any golfer.

A very nice curse in the heart of the midlands. easily accessible and lovely food afterwards and thereafter.
