What the club says: Situated on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, Kirkbymoorside Golf Club combines breathtaking views with a challenging golf course consisting of some of the most unique holes you are ever likely to encounter. The course is made up of 18 parkland holes with a men's par of 70 and a ladies' par of 73.
Kirkbymoorside Golf Club offers a challenging golf course set in a beautiful and quiet rural surrounding. We are situated on the edge of the North York Moors National Park.
As one of the top 30 golf courses in Yorkshire, you will find a spectacular layout with immaculate fairways, fast undulating greens and a welcoming clubhouse upon arrival.
Whatever the time of year, you will be impressed with the spectacular scenery which will surround you during the whole of your round. The view over the moors from the 13th tee is unsurpassed in the whole of the North of England. Looking away from the moors, the course offers distant views of the Yorkshire Wolds and The Hambleton Hills – both areas of outstanding natural beauty. After your round, come and join us in our modern comfortable club house (opened in 1998 by Ryder Cup Captain Bernhard Gallagher) where our staff will provide a hospitable and friendly welcome. Enjoy a drink, and a snack or ‘home cooked’ meal in the clubhouse or at a table outside on our scenic veranda, which looks out across the 1st hole and up the 18th fairway.

Short but interesting with tricky greens
Short undulating parkland course but most holes with interesting shape. Greens tricky, overall well maintained. Tried to get a drink but no one around.Reviewer Rating

Busy and wet but interesting
Busy course though still able to play in 3 hours by playing through slower groups. Wet day and course was just about holding up. Interesting layout albeit it shortish.Reviewer Rating

Summer Course
Played today with Nomads Society. It was cool/cold but dry. The course was better than it might have been given the amount of rain but we didn’t see it at its best. The fairways need a cut but I understand why they haven’t been yet. It’s a course I like and it’s one of not so many that start with a Par 3 which can increase the nerves. Not a challenging course but a very enjoyable one in the summer.Reviewer Rating

Great course in great condition
We played Kirkbymoorside last week and the course was in brilliant condition after the really hot weather recently. The fairways were bouncing along and the green were really good, slowish because the green keepers had kept a little grass on to save them from the weather but they were true and excellent. The professional and the bar staff are always very welcoming.Reviewer Rating

Interesting shortish course
Course in great condition apart from a badly repaired first green and a temporary on 13. First time playing and while the course was shortish, most holes were interesting, even though they favoured a left to right hitter. Fast round for a two ball of just over 3 hours only held up from the 16th green.Reviewer Rating
