What the club says: Kingennie golf course, opened in summer 2007, which surrounds the Forbes of Kingennie Estate, has been designed to be a challenge for all levels of golfer. Beautiful panoramic views of the Tay Estuary and St Andrews beyond give this course a wide open but don’t let this fool you – each hole will test your shot making ability.

Hidden Gem

A great layout of 9 holes (par 68) designed by Open Champion Darren Clarke. Each hole has a distinctive challenge and the green complexes are very well designed. The course is maintained to a very good standard and the greens present true challenges, with undulations and elevation changes making par a good score. Some holes have water features which have to be negotiated wisely. The surrounding views of the Angus hills and coastline at Carnoustie make a bonus addition to the golfing experience. The hospitality and food were fist class. I hope to return soon to beat my score of nett 69.

nice course to play risk and reward, Green keepers do a good job all year round, good practice facilitates next to the 1st tee, driving range and short game with small green and bunker, nice restaurant whether it be a full meal and a quick bite before / after round

Good course, price is steep for 9 holes but the holes are busy enough to make it a good challenge.
