What the club says: This beautiful nine-hole club, which boasts stunning views of the Pennine Moors and surrounding countryside, is the perfect venue for seasoned golfers. Our greens are built to USGA Standard and are playable all year round.
The nine hole course offers 3 par 5's, 4 par 4's, and 2 par 3's. It can also be played as an 18 hole, for which it offers a par of 72 and measures 5918 yards.

Fairways in good condition, semi rough can be a challenge for any misplaced drives,course management is key around here the greens are quick and offfer an additional challenge, cracking 9 hole course with quite different tea positions if you play it has an 18

Really enjoyed Oak Royal & such a friendly club!Joined a member for a round, the was in excellent condition with some really nice holes especially the par 3?s.
Would highly recommend & great value for money!

Great course, well worth a visit.
Drove from Preston to play this course, on arrival you meet the clubhouse and facilities which are quite grand. Every member of staff I met was polite and keen to help.The course is well laid out and has some tests but is still enjoyable for lower or higher handicap golfers.
My only criticism is the clubhouse/bar where I went to eat was a bit small, if I was with a four-ball we would I filled it. Food was tasty and good value for both the round and my snack after.

Brilliant
Course was fantastic. Couldn't ask for more considering the recent weather. The 2 sets of tees make the front and back 9 play totally different(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 70 Handicap: 0.8)

Lovely little 9 hole course
Great greens - maturing well. Not played for a good few years as the course was very new last time. Nice to see the trees growing well and the course maturing.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 98 Handicap: 22.1)
