What the club says: Pula Golf was founded in 1995. In the year 2004 starts the redesign of the course by Jose Maria Olazabal restyling 6 holes. In 2005 was restyled other 6 holes and in 2006 the last 6 holes, in order to satisfy the high demands of the international Profi-Golf.
The course has been transformed to the longest and most demanding in Majorca, with a par 70 and 6.105 m long. At 14 holes the players are able to see the green from the tee, at the other 4 holes the green can be seen from the second hit on.

Worth a visit

Very good setup. Played when it was high season so a bit pricey but still worth it. The only minor issue was the state of the clubs to rent. Could do with a upgrade or cleaning. Joined in with other golfers and was very pleasant. July ,August low season and cheaper because it gets to hot to play. So will be going in low season next year.

We were expecting the course to be in really good condition as much work had been started when we visited last year however there were ongoing works which prevented buggies from being allowed on the course. This meant a lot of walking back and forth from ball to buggy. The changing facilities were basic when compared to other Clubs we visited.

A nice course, tough and picturesque in places with a good few water hazards. A tricky course for a high handicapper like myself as some of the greens have either deep bunkers surrounding them or are protected by water hazards. Lots of fairway hazards too at strategic points so you had to plot your way around. Although I enjoyed my round and the staff were great (most spoke English) the fairways and greens were not in peak condition and this probably reflected the 60 Euro price I paid (It is normally 100 Euros to play here around this time of year I think). There is no way a European Tour event could be held here at present (which is normally the case), the course just was not in tip-top condition which was a shame.

A buggy was not necessary (but holes 10-18) were on a steeper incline than the front nine holes. Take plenty of water as there is nowhere out on the course to grab a bottle of water. The heat was blazing when I played (30 degrees C) and I forgot my water bottles. Aargh!
