What the club says: Designed by Angel Gallardo and Neil Coles, the PGA Catalunya features two 18 hole courses; the green course and the red course. The course has a very special 18 hole, par 72 layout. There are five different tees for each hole, making it the only course in Spain with this feature allowing players of any handicap to enjoy a good round of golf. PGA Golf de Catalunya has been ranked in the top 10 by the list in the European best golf courses by "Golf World". PGA Golf de Catalunya successfully hosted the Gene Sarazen World Open in October 1999 and Peugeot Spanish Open in April 200 making it the only course ever to host two European Tour events just 10 months after opening.
The Green Course is regarded as a “technician’s” course with old oak trees, evergreens and heather encroaching the sides of the fairways and a fair bit of water to negotiate as well. It is quite a hilly course making it a great physical, as well as mental, workout.
The Red Course is of equally breathtaking beauty. Located adjacent to the Green, it boasts the same fantastic design and layout. It is a little bit shorter than the Green and is slightly more open is places.

Ouch
What a great course and for me very tough. If you are not long and straight off the tee you will be in trouble. I have played some hard courses over the years but this is the hardest. The course is beautiful and varied, with elevated bunker protected greens which are very fast.Reviewer Rating

The facilities were some of the best I have ever seen, and the condition of the course was exceptional. The holes were varied and visually appealing - definitely a great experience!

Quality
Played here same time of year 2014, seems to have made it more enjoyable for mid handicappers. Yellow tees not as far back, some of trees cleared & greens more receptive. Fantastic club house & practice areas. Played both on a package trip so worked out good value. Seen sporting celebrities here on both occasions, nice to see professional sportsmen struggling with the small ball too!(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 91 Handicap: 11.4)

Great course - even in winter. From the first tee to last green, this course is magic. Lovely sweeping views, elevated tees, elegant water hazards, testing greens, fairways in mint condition and 18 holes of strategic interest. The clubhouse is superb too with an allocated locker and a good range of goods. The food and coffee also hit the spot.

Played the Stadium Course and was blown away by its visual beauty. The course is very nicely designed into the hilly surroundings and you get lots of elevated tees and greens, shots off uneven ground etc. Greens are superfast but the approach is easier than at El Prat, you don't get punished as much if your shot is slightly off-line, too short or too long. Truly a must-visit course, but it is more of a resort course so I don't see it as a place to be a member in, for that El Prat in Terrassa is more suitable.

Visited in September 2014. Played in a group of three, all around 20 handicap. We played both courses and had an amazing experience. The Pro shop is great, staff incredibly friendly and accommodating. The course was in fantastic conditions and gave even us high handicappers plenty of chances to score points.
I wold put this as a must play course.
