What the club says: The Goose Valley Golf Course is situated in pristine surroundings, only 2km from Plettenberg Bay and bordering on the Keurbooms Lagoon. Golfers playing this magnificent Gary Player designed 72 par, 18 hole golf course in the heart of the Garden Route will experience breathtaking views of the lagoon, the ocean and the Tsitsikamma Mountains. The golfing experience is enhanced by the beauty of the natural fynbos and the abundance of animal and birdlife around the course. The course boasts a superb Driving Range and practice, chipping and putting facilities. The course is surrounded by indigenous Fynbos which is home to small buck, tortoises and spectacular bird life. There must be very few courses, if any, elsewhere in the world where one can play golf and simultaneously watch whales breaching in the sea.
Goose Valley Golf Club welcomes visitors and has become extremely popular with tourists who enjoy the relaxed family atmosphere of the Club.

Lovely course. Some of the properties are a little close to the course. Halfway house a little slow although the clubhouse is very nice.
