What the club says: The Sun City Resort proudly boasts 2 world class 18 hole championship golf courses.
The Gary Player Golf Course.
The Gary Player Golf Course needs no introduction, this world renown course was designed by Gary Player, and is the home of the Nedbank Golf Challenge, an annual golf tournament with total prize money of US $4 385 000. This is an 18 hole, par 72 walking course, with a 5km running trail along the course.
The Gary Player Country Club overlooks this magnificent golf course and incorporates a Pro Shop, a Health spa and gymnasium, two squash courts and a spinning studio. At the Health Spa you can indulge in hair and beauty treatments, hydro bath, Vichy Shower, spa-pool and steam room. The fully equipped gym also offers personal trainers.
The Lost City Golf Course
The Lost City Golf Course was also designed by famed South African golfing figure, Gary Player. This spectacular par-72 course is a cart course, complete with a state-of-the-art clubhouse, and is a short stroll from The Palace of the Lost City. It features a water hazard of 20 live Nile crocodiles on the 13th hole and offers facilities such as a driving range, and a Golf Pro Shop.

Sun City - Lost City
Fantastic golf course, played many times previously. Worth every penny, incredible challenge, scenery, wild life and course.(Round played: Dec 2017 - Score: 92 Handicap: 15.6)

This is a fantastic course, beautiful setting and amazing condition. The greens are exceptionally difficult. This combination score of my two rounds shows that it can be played well enough, but individually both my rounds were way over my handicap! However, I think this is my top course so far!!

What a course!!! I was lucky enough to play just after the million dollar. The course was in amazing condition.
It does cost a few quid but in terms of value for money then it is 10 out 10.
I can confirm everything said about the rough, but I also found the tips from my caddy very useful (one time game, as I smashed my five wood onto the green instead of laying up).
My finest moment came dropping a 40ft putt of the back of the ninth.
My advice
rock up
book your tee time
enjoy every shot

Was lucky enough to play 2 rounds there last week. Excellent course. Love the 9th, 17th and 18th holes in particular. I can echo the comments above. When in rough...take wedge.

I stayed at Sun City for three days great course and facilities do not try to get distance on a ball lying in the second rough as you will not get distance just a club that gets caught by the grass the greens are very hard too a 1ft putt can easily be missed and it seems they put the hole a little mound so anything not centre just drifts away

As part of a prize, we taked on 2 days in Sun City and played The Player and Lost City courses.
How good were they...?
They were top speck, real top speck. Couple that with Sun City Resort and you have the perfect place in the sun to golf and get fed and watered.
