What the club says: The Atlantic Beach Golf Course is a links course in the tradition of fabled courses such as St Andrews and Pebble Beach Golf Courses. Winding its way through the undulating dunes, and peppered with islands of Fynbos, the challenging (yet fair) course has been designed to be as enjoyable for the expert as it is for the weekend golfer.
On calm days you can play your normal lofted shot or on windy days you can use the firm turf to play low running shots, beneath the wind. Either way, we are sure you will enjoy the challenge around this 18-hole golf course.

Honestly, don?t bother!
A beautiful course, but one where all of the rough is OB due to local nature (Cape cobra are rife in the area) so even if you can see your ball it's a penalty shot! I'm an 8 handicap golfer and I lost 11 balls on this course! Even good shots are penalised as a bad bounce on the fairway ends up in the penalty rough. So unless you're happy to hit mid irons off of every tee, it's really not worth playing.Reviewer Rating

this is great course set between mountains on one side and the ocean to the other - every view is amazing. the set up of the course is tight - so straighht driving is as ever important. don't miss having a beer or two inthe bar because the service is impressive
