What the club says: Guardian Bom Sucesso Golf is an 18 hole Championship Golf course designed by the legendary Donald Steel. It stretches along the length of a resort which is made up of villas and apartments and other leisure facilities. The proximity of the sea and the Obidos Lagoon offers breathtaking views from some parts of the golf course. The front nine offers an even elevated terrain offering those fantastic views, while the back nine is played with more undulation, making its way through a forest of Eucalyptus trees. It is a par 72 course, with an area exceeding 600,000 square meters. During construction, the project was overseen by the chairman of the British Association of Golf Course Constructors, which defines its high quality and adaptability to international standards.

Lovely course with great views
This is one of the 4 courses in the little lagoon/ beach triangle in Obidos. The first 9 move you in a circle to bring you back to the club-house, and the second 9's circle takes you onto higher ground from where there are great views, and the 17th and 18th then drop you back down. Nice course, excellent greens, and a challenge without being unfair.Reviewer Rating

This is an excellent course with great greens that are fast and true. The back 9 is fantastic with memorable holes with the final 2 being most memorable. Fantastic views.
