What the club says: Utrecht de Pan is one of the oldest golf courses in the Netherlands. The parkland course has hosted the Dutch Open several times, and with its classic English heathland style, dog legging through strands of pine, birch, oak and chestnut trees with several memorable holes where the tee shot must be played over valleys of heather and sand it is understandable why. The strategic course require a lot more thought from the golfer as apposed to muscle, and with no water on the course, the main hazards to be avoided are the trees and the few well-positioned bunkers.
