What the club says: Designed by Robert Trent Jones, this American-style 18-hole golf course runs through a beautiful valley overlooked by the encompassing Atlas Mountains. The course, well maintained throughout the year, is dotted with numerous lakes, bunkers and palm trees, all of which protect well-cut greens at some stage.
18 holes. Par 72. 6835 yards. Parkland.

Obviously it is a desert course so it can be quite dry (fairways and greens), especially in the afternoon. Not much tree cover - we played in June and didn't find much shade.
The clubhouse is a grandiose old building with a nice 19th hole.
They have decent rental clubs.

Didn't spend any time in the clubhouse as we were on an all inclusive break (free drinks back at the hotel)!!.
We were told that we had to have a buggy 400 Dirham (about £32) or a caddy each (200 Dirham each so the same cost). We were told no carrying, and no trolleys, but we saw people carrying out on the course (they were players NOT caddies), and what looked like hire trolleys out by the putting green, although these were also what the caddies were using. As the course itself is quite flat (as were all the courses we played) it would have been useful just to use a trolley and get some exercise (ate too much food under all-inclusive and could have done with working it off).
Generally I enjoyed the course, but do feel the facility was milking the players for money by insisting on caddies or buggies.
